The Tacoma Calligraphy Guild is a friendly group of calligraphers and letter-lovers. Our varied range of skill levels is complimented by our equally varied interests in styles of calligraphy and hand lettering, as well as related arts such as book and paper crafts. This makes for a delightfully  interesting mix of people and programs.

The Guild generally meets on the third Monday of each month (see calendar)for exceptions). The meetings are held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Truman Center for Professional Development (the old Truman Middle School), located at 6501 North 23rd Street, Tacoma, Washington. (Map and directions)

Directions to the meeting room:

Parking is in the lot on the south side of the building.

Use the walkway between the two buildings and take the stairs or ramp to the left.

Go through the double doors into the building in the back. We meet in Room #4, on the right.

Club meetings consist of a formal guild meeting, followed by a class on a calligraphic hand, or a project relating to calligraphy. Meeting attendance is free. Everyone is welcome.

If you are interested in becoming a Tacoma Calligraphy Guild member, dues are $20 per year, due in January.
